Odoo Subscriptions
Yes.
All plans include access to hundreds of Odoo applications on a scalable cloud infrastructure. This includes hosting, daily incremental backups across two continents, email integration, top-notch security, 24/7 monitoring, and a control center to manage your Odoo environment.
Odoo's service includes unlimited access to support via email, Monday to Friday, 24/5, in English, French, Spanish, or Dutch. Access to their eLearning platform is also free. Updates are included in your plans at no additional charge.

What is not included in the plans:
- Hosting on Odoo.sh for custom developments (hosting on Odoo online is free, with a maximum storage of up to 100 GB¹).
- Implementation service and access to Odoo's specialized services.
- Credits for in-app purchases: SMS, auto-completion of contacts, lead generation, artificial intelligence for scanning supplier invoices and expenses.
- Maintenance of custom code.
The Standard plan is hosted on Odoo online, the cloud infrastructure where Odoo hosts databases that do not have custom modules. With the Custom plan, you can host Odoo online at no additional cost or choose one of these two options:
- Download Odoo Enterprise and host it on your own.
- Host on Odoo.sh, the continuous integration platform where you can host your developments and your test and production branches. This way you can develop or use custom modules.

Yes, this plan supports multiple companies. You can also choose Studio as the application you will use in this plan.
If you choose an application that depends on others (for example, E-commerce depends on Website and Invoicing), you will also get these applications for free. You can start with any application, Odoo guarantees that its use is free and for unlimited users, forever, regardless of what dependencies the application has.
To switch from the 'Oneappfree' plan to the Standard plan, you just need to install the applications you need. You will automatically switch to the Customized plan if you install Studio or add other companies to your database.
The Customized plan is for companies that want to manage multiple companies in a single database and need to customize Odoo with the Studio app, through custom developments, or via the API.
Generally, a paying user is an employee who has access to thebackendof Odoo to create, view, or edit documents. External users (such as customers and suppliers) who use Odoo through the portal are not paying users.
Examples of paying users:
- An employee who records their expenses or hours.
- An external accountant who uses Odoo to work with your finances.
Examples of free users:
- Customers and suppliers who have access to your invoices in the portal.
- Visitors to your website who are placing orders in your e-commerce and need to track their deliveries.
When using Odoo online, you can download a backup of your database at any time from the control center. You control your data!
Odoo online or Odoo Enterprise (local or Odoo.sh) are the samesoftware. Only the hosting and infrastructure are different: emails, backups, database redundancies, etc.
The cloud infrastructure runs on the latest version of Odoo with regular updates. Local users must use the latest stable version of Odoo. If you would like to switch from Odoo online to local Odoo, the best time to make this change is immediately after the release of the latest stable version.
An external API means that you will need to set up anexternal software(such as a legacy system, reporting engines, among others) that makes calls to the Odoo API (JSON-RPC or XML-RPC) to query, retrieve, or update the data stored in Odoo.
When the call is initiated from Odoo, it is NOT considered an 'external API'. For example, when an Odoo application uses an external service like a payment provider (Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, among others), carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.), VoIP providers, or bank synchronizations, it is part of the Standard plan.
